Pop of Color

I love this color series by OPI, I've been wearing them for a couple of years now, but I haven't gotten sick of them yet.  I'm wearing the one on the far left (it's like a dark taupe/ purple), and always go back to the one on the far right, a greyish purple.  Your favorite colors tend to end up in your home and belongings, and in my case, black, white, and grey are always my favorite colors, but I do like a pop of color or two to brighten things up, and make it fun.

Incorporating favorite colors into a home tastefully so it's not in your face or overdone can be tough, but I think restraint is the key, and the outcome is fabulous.  Here are some designs I love...

I love the bold black and white look, but that's a whole different subject... it can take many posts covering all the options!  So if you're afraid to incorporate colors, why not keep it neutral and have one or two accent colors to complete a room!
