One of my favorite hotels during my travels is J.K. Place in Florence, Italy, a small boutique hotel, part of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World. Located in the heart of Florence, J.K Place is chic, beautifully designed, and comfortable with excellent service. I loved the "front desk," which was a library, the daily brunch that was served in a bright and airy room with a family style dining table, and the lounging areas and rooms that were tastefully decorated.

I love all the neutral tones together with the glossy black floors, and all the books, antiques, paintings, and found objects elegantly put together to create such a unique hotel. With just 20 rooms, and excellent service, this is the perfect place to relax after a day at the Duomo, Uffizi, Accademia... just perfect.
