Found: The Perfect Black Cropped Pants

Perfect black pants are a must, and for the summer, the perfect black cropped pants are a must.  I bought J Crew's Minnie pant in stretch twill a few weeks ago, and it's been in my office wardrobe rotation ever since.  For not a lot of money, it's perfect!  It works pretty much with anything... literally.

I think I may just get it in all available colors (yes, I'm one of those!)

I love this red, it's like a bright red with a slight orange tinge. 

Speaking of J Crew... I'm loving the Edie purse - structured and ladylike, for a more polished look.  I figured with so many slouchy bags... I "need" a more structured bag in my wardrobe.  Right?

Trend: Cat Eye Sunglasses

I'm loving the cat eye sunglass trend!  I usually don't follow anything really trendy, but I love the retro feel to these.  Pretty much every sunglass vendor out there now has a version or two (or three) of the cat eye - if happen to be at a department or a sunglass specialty store, try a pair on!

Kate Spade - Franca Cat Eye.  Simple, nothing too crazy.

Ray Ban - Retro Cat Eye.  Cool version of cat eyes, more rounded.

Gucci - Young Project Cat Eye.  Looks great on (most people).

Prada - Rectangular Cat Eye,  Different... they have another pair that is pretty unique, meaning:  hard to pull off :)

House of Harlow - Chelsea Cat Eye

Alexander McQueen - Two Tone Cat Eye.  My most recent purchase - loving them!

I tried on many pairs, the McQueens were my favorite :) at least for my face.  Although I did say no more adding to my sunglass collection...

Designer Feature: Anya Hindmarch

Anya Hindmarch started her fashion career in Florence, Italy recreating a leather duffel bag worn by all the chic Italians and selling them in London.  I love her stylish yet (mostly) practical designs - the large totes, and I've been looking for a cute little clutch, and I may have found it.  Some of my favorites:

Kate Spade Phone Cases

I currently own a Kate Spade iPhone cover, and after many tumbles and careless tosses, it's time for a new one.  I walked into the Kate Spade retail store in Soho, and I was pleasantly surprised.  It's such a beautiful store!  It reminded me of sunshine and happy days.  I love the cases because of the playful designs and the bold colors, it's like jewelry for your phone!

One last thing... off the subject of iPhone cases, but I LOVE this ring!  It will be mine:

I became a fan of Kate Spade's fashion jewelry after I bought a couple of pairs of the Gumdrop Studs, but after I saw the Date Night ring, I will definitely keep the brand in mind when I look for fun jewelry.
